- Collaborate with the Pastor to formulate parish policies consistent with faith and morals, civil and church law and diocesan policies;
- Develop and maintain a mission statement which embraces and evolves with the total life of the parish;
- Plan clear and concise goals based on the parish mission statement and the needs of the parish;
- Encourage and promote all apostolic activity of the parish;
Some members of the council are appointed by the Pastor and others enter a self-nomination process. Selection is then determined by the discernment of the Council and the Pastor. As terms end, new members are invited. All meetings are open to members of the parish. Meetings are held monthly, currently on the 2nd Monday of the month except in August.
